LVL, perfect fit for
wood building

Wood and engineered wood products as a building material are trending globally. Changes in legislation have opened new possibilities for wooden buildings. Being a material that is flexible to work with, wood has also gained a strong reputation as the go-to material when one wants to build in a way that emphasizes a small carbon footprint, and in a sustainable way.

When only the sky is the limit
with LVL

We are already seeing LVL being used creatively. We are not only seeing high towers and buildings with imaginative shapes being built with LVL but also for example wind turbines on a commercial level. Not forgetting furniture and other similar applications. Where do we see LVL being used today and where it could be used tomorrow? Is anything limiting the end-product innovations created from LVL?

The present and future of the LVL industry

Largely adopted by builders, architects, and structural engineers, LVL offers not only a remarkable design versatility but also one of the best usage of raw material, being based on veneer peeling technology.

Who are the current LVL suppliers in Europe and how is manufacturing capacity forecasted to grow over the next few years? How about in North America? What will be the headwinds and tailwinds for LVL development over the next few years?
